Outside Our Comfort Zone

First, we recognize that we are exceedingly lucky to be able to do this. So nothing should sound like a whine. We have NOTHING to whine about.

Having said that, leaving has been hard. Leaving the family, friends and oh yes, Sandy, the dog, pictured above.  We even went back to the house after we said goodbye the first time and that's when we found him as pictured above. Must admit....our eyes were sweating.....

Dr Seuss has some wise words for us as we depart:

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And you are the one who’ll decide where to go.”

My question is whether we really had brains in our heads when we made this decision.

Cause we are way outside our comfort zone!!

We will keep you posted!

Hope the sweat in your eyes has dried as you begin an exciting trip. Sandy will forgive you, not sure I will. Miss my walking partner !

Keep all the wonderful pictures and stories. Love you both and so proud of you for doing something so awesome.
How about this about walking:
"We all walk in the dark and each of us must learn to turn on his or her own light." Earl Nightingale
May you turn on many lights. As if you two are not lights!
